CLASS: INTRODUCTION TO BRONZE METAL CLAY (2 day class)
Learn the basics of metal clay. In this class we will create a pendant with bail using textures, wet and dry construction techniques, finishing, firing and working with patinas. In this class you will learn the basics of working with silver metal clay by constructing a textured pendant with a bail. Skills learned include: proper method for working with metal clay, adding textures, wet & dry construction techniques, finishing, firing and working with patinas. Class fee includes the use of all tools needed during the class. The students are required to purchase the metal clay for the class. Price: $150 Plus Supplies (approximately $65)

While shopping, you’ll meet the artists, learn what inspires them and how they take raw materials like clay, wood, metal and glass and transform them into fine craft.

An essential part of Chattanooga’s creative capital, 4 Bridges Arts Festival (4BAF) will return to a live event April 9-10, 2022. ALABAMA DESIGNER CRAFTSMAN ANNUAL SHOW
The ADC Annual Fine Crafts Show is held at the Birmingham Botanical Gardens featuring over 40 of Alabama's best artisans under one roof. This is a favorite yearly show for the Birmingham area and AD/C is proud to continue enriching our community through sharing our craft. RiverArtsFest
This year’s RiverArtsFest will take place Saturday, October 23 and Sunday, October 24, 2021, at the Renasant Convention Center in downtown Memphis. The move from Riverside Drive (where RiverArtsFest was held in 2018 and 2019) was necessitated by the Cobblestone Landing restoration project along Riverside Drive. The stretch of Riverside that hosted the festival will be closed for construction traffic. The festival will utilize the center’s entire main street lobby and main level meeting spaces

This year TACA is having a virtual event instead of the usual art festival in the park due to COVID 19.
